Indeed... you just underestimate the intensity of racing a car on dirt or mud as opposed to ashphalt..

driving on asphalt allows you to have some sort of control in certain degrees.. especially if you gain experiance.

on the dirt track, you can have 30 years experiance and still not be able to tell what the outcome will be.. hence why I love derbies. a ford aspire could win the trophy.

I guess the concept is easy, but like anything else, there's work involved/ Gregster you'd probably know more about it than I would, but man, I couldn't believe the work that was put into the car...all in a home garage with a couple buddies...

I'd like to learn more about camber and what not for dirt as opposed to asphalt...

Here are some shot's of the motor...stuffed in there...(this is before paint and all)

Wow! What a great time!

Dave finished 3rd in the first heat then 5th in the second...

It sure was cold though!

I'll have some pics up soon!

Now I know why you sliced the hood the way you did, no way that motor was going to clear your hood.

So Team 7x after the first race gets placed 6th in points..

I'll keep you posted!

Thanks again for the support guys!
