Hi there, im currently looking for a E36 M3.

I found one really great 1995 with low milleage but the only thing is the 3.0.

I know there is a big difference between the two in Euro specs...

But with the US models, is there a big difference between the two cars ?

I mean both have the same hp, but the 3.2 has like 10 lbs or torque more...Wich

i think is really not much...

I searched everywhere on the web and im finding most likely differences between

euro 3.0 and euro 3.2 wich is really not the same...

Is there anyone here that tried both and could tell me if a 3.0 is still a good

choice ? Thanks !

You can't go wrong either way, no big difference. Those cars are old these days and were abused in many cases so get the best car you can afford, don't worry about which motor.

the 3.0 will be easier to modify because it'S OBD1. Mine is a 95 and i love it !

There is also other thing that are not the same. On a 95, the diff is a 3.15 and 96+ it's a 3.23. The suspension is not the same (don't know the difference). On a 95 you have 235 on all corner and 96+ you have 225 in front and 245 in the rear (more understeer). I think that the sway bar are not exactlly the same too.

But i can assure you that both are amasing !

The 3.2 swapped OBDI is probably the best the problem of the 3.2 is the intake manifold, but with an OD1 intake it flows better and you get more gain!

Wow that was fast !

Thanks for the advices guys.

Oh and one more thing, is it bad

If it's a US model ? I guess not...

it's even better because you won't have rust isue...

But you can't import a 1995 anymore (don't know wy) but if it is already here you won't have any problem.
