What could it be?

I was on the highway and when I got off I released the accelerator and my steering wheel was going from left to right. It was more than shaking. At first I tough that I had a loose wheel. But when I parked and check the front wheels all five bolts were tight.

So I got back in my car and back on the highway and it's not doing it anymore.

Keep in mind that it's not only when I push the brakes but when I'm decelerating and as soon as I giving gas it's good. And now it's not doing it anymore.

Any suggestions?

Happened only once? If so im pretty sure its the un equal road surface...When you get into those "tracks" that appears on high occupied highways.

we should have rally cars, at least these can take the abuse of our roads

Thanks for all inputs.

Je ne freinait pas et je ne crois pas que la surface était glissante... elle était sèche... pas de pluie.

Yes it happen only once but on the service road and an other street... could both streets, which I drive on once a week and never cause me any problem, done this... maybe.

Anyway I'm reassured and will blame the roads like you said.
I took the DesSources exit going west on the 40 and it happens on the service road.
Accelerating fixed the problem.

Thank you all
