They fuckin' made it.

A badly damaged British Liberator, seen here back in England after it had been struck by a falling bomb dropped from a squadron mate in mid-flight

Rare picture of German Me-262 jet fighters aboard an aircraft carrier. They're on the deck of the HMS Reaper on their way to the US to be evaluated.

B-17G Fortress “Mizpah” took a direct AAA hit in the nose on mission to Budapest, 14 Jul 1944. 2 were killed instantly but the pilot held her level long enough for crew to get out & become POW’s. The aircraft crashed near Dunavecse, Hungary.

75 year anniversary of men needlessly dying en mass to deliver our freedom from a Boogeyman built up and supported by the profiteering banksters and the military industrial complex.

Every major war that has and that probably will be fought was engineered by the few, for their profit, at the cost of much human suffering.

We should be furious that our fathers, uncles, brothers and sons are/were used merely as fodder to sell bombs and charge interest on loans used to buy those bombs.

Queue the backfire effect.

Mon grand-père as pas participé. Assez fou quand on y pense.

Take a moment to learn about Leo Major.

Major was serving with the*Régiment de la Chaudière*that landed on the beaches in the*Normandy Invasion*on June 6, 1944.[3]*During a reconnaissance mission on*D-Day, Major captured a German armoured vehicle (a*Hanomag) by himself. The vehicle contained German communication equipment and secret codes.[4]*Days later, during his first encounter with an*SS*patrol, he killed four soldiers; however, one of them managed to ignite a*phosphorus*grenade. After the resulting explosion, Major lost one eye but he continued to fight. He continued his service as a scout and a sniper by insisting that he needed only one eye to sight his weapon. According to him, he "looked like a pirate".[5]
