Are there increasing fines for repeat offenses?

for example:

you get fined for an illegal exhaust, you pay the ticket but you don't change it back to stock.

If you get pulled over a few weeks later for that same illegal exhaust, will the fine increase or will it be $150 again?

No, they don't.

But fines multiply with a direct relation to your stubborness and your right foot application.

Get rid of that fart can!
 
Ussaly the Police gives you the minimum fine applicable. But if you go to court a judge could give you the maximum fine.
Maybe that would happen after he remebers you from a different ticket.
So theoricly it is possible to hav a bigger fine.
Put no they do not have step increase.

usually cops give the min fine... but then they can always give a higher fine if they feel like teaching you a lesson.
