This rare original low mileage vehicle has a 3 owner history (myself included). This
GTI is ready for winter; it's on winter tires, tune up and rustproofing have been
performed.

- All paper history dating back to the purchase of the vehicle in 1996, is available.
This GTI has been well maintained:
- Oil changes done every 7000km
- Brakes on all four corners were done last year (discs, pads, Super Blue fluid)
- Oil cooler seals replaced last year
- Oil level sensors replaced this fall
- Water pump belt and tensioner were done early this year
- Only 91 octane fuel used
- Rustproofed
Modifications and parts:
This GTI is dynamic, light on its feet (1000kg) and has a rev-happy, throaty, torquey engine. As an added bonus, this 2.8l VR6 engine has also quite a unique symphony!
- Bilstein BTS suspension upgrade (stiffer and lower than stock Spring/damper combo)
- All suspension mounts and bushings were done at the same time
- K&N high flow air filter
- VW Cabrio leather 3 spoke steering wheel
- Exhaust resonator removed and replaced by stainless piping
- Front mount replaced bu stiffer rubber mount (better response when shifting)
- Winter setup: Hankook i*Pike W409 studless (1 winter) on original VW 15in wheels
- Summer setup: Falken Ziex ZE-912 on two piece 16in BBS RX-II wheels
- 20mm rear H&R spacers
- Audi TT pedal set
- Custom German made Rieger leather illuminated shifter knob and boot
- Pioneer Audio Head unit (CD, USB and Auxiliary inputs)
All original parts are also included (Suspension, shifter knob, pedals, steering
wheel)
- Michelin front and rear winter mats
Remarks/Issues:
- Coolant level light blinks occasionally. This is a minor cluster issue) Sensors are
working properly and there are no leaks.
- I have disengaged the ABS module because I prefer a firmer and more predictable
brake feel
- 3 small rust spots: Driver door bubble, front passenger side above wheel well
and around rear GTI emblem.
- Small exhaust hole (audible)
- Hatch license plate/lights holder a little loose (common issue)
- Don't let the pictures scare you. This vehicle was not used on the race track. I participated in one slalom event in order to test the suspension and engine mount modifications.
