Mind blowing pictures! We will never live to see something of such scale. As sad as it is, I'd give a lot to be able to witness such a sight!

I agree...they were real men. I'm sure everyone has heard or knows of someone that went through WWII. If you do, just sit down with your grandfather or father, and listen to them...

Einstein said WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones, so maybe we'll see it in our lifetime.....

Battle of Messine, 1st world war.

Unable to take a heavily defended hill, the allies dig under said hill for more then a year and simply blow it up with all 10 000 Germans that were camping on it. It is still today the biggest sapping operation of all time.

Crazy stuff, really breathtaking! My grandfather fought in WWII and was shot down over Belgium, and my uncle was in Vietnam. Both of them managed to come back home afterwards too!
