Amateur De Rhum?

J'ai ma bouteille de Ron del Barrilito 3 Star quand j'ai le gout de boire un rhum sans le mixer. Excellent rhum qu'on retrouve seulement à Puerto Rico :(

Sinon Sailor Jerry, Captain Morgan et Kraken.
 
Je venais ici justement posté que le Kraken étais maintenent disponible a la saq. En arretant a la SAQ pour woodstock j'ai vu sa. On as acheté du barbados d'haiti par contre.

Mercredi passé j'ai gouté a du Rhum Vanille venu direct de St-Bart qu'un des Rep a ma Job a ramené. Miam ! Vraiment bon. Très doux avec un bon gout de vanille sans etre exagéré. Parait que le Rhum Pasion la bas est ecoeurant aussi
 
Had the Kracken the other day and was really impressed!

I am more of a scotch drinker but the only rhum that I can drink straight is Mount Gay, Kracken and was really happy with Captin Morgan Private Stock
 
There's nothing like Legendario for me. Too bad you can only buy it in special places in Cuba....and I haven't been to Cuba in a while. I've also tasted some agricultural rhums from other Caribbean countries and it was very very good.

Otherwise from the more common stuff I like Brugal, Cruzan flavored rhum and Appleton Estate.

you my friend are a true rum connoisseur.

if other fans of Ron Zacapa in here? do try Angostura 1824 available at certain SAQ, LCBOs or in the states (NYC have lots) The Angostura 1919 is also very good, much cheaper and more availability

I keep the above bottles tucked away with my rare scotches for people that truly enjoy rum.

For casual, every odd-day glass I like:

El dorado
Flor de cana
Havana clubs are almost all reputable
Appleton reserve only
Santiago

Some i don't like:

Bacardi
Captain morgan (the private stock is ok)
St james
Mount gay
 
Is zacapa or angostura available at the saq ? I havent found it on the website !

For me i enjoy havana club for basic rum and cokes.

Straight i really like flor de cana and santiago when i can ...

Tellement! J'aurais dû en ramener 12 bouteilles pis payer les taxes... ça aurait valu la peine!

Mes préférés sont donc:

- Kraken
- Santiago de Cuba anejo

No we don't have zacapa at the saq,for real the saq choise of rum is not really great.
