Well, after looking for a while, I found a 240sx to buy, Now, it is time to start repairing and building it. Now, I am doing this on a somewhat limited budget and ressources, but that should not stop me from acheiving my goal, which is simply to have a reliable Bitch.

So here is the Car as published in The AD where I found it :

Looks semi-decent, but was not all that decent once I started looking closely... But hey, where's the fun if there is nothing to do on it.

So, after taking it home, removing that Ugly Bra, and cleaning it a little, here is what came out,

RUST !!!

Removed the rear ''sponge'' spoiler and Came to conclusion I needed a new hatch after seeing this :

The other problem was the Frame-Rail, which I knew before hand, but none the less, here is the damage :

I also knew before hand that I needed a little rocker panel work, A new Fender, and a New Passenger door. Here is why :

Now, there is also a hole in the floor on each side where the Seat Brackets are, 1 Small Hole in the Trunk, and 1 Hole in the pedals area ( Where my gas pedal heel is ) Which I will get pictures of once I am finished removing the Interior.

I thought I had a Rack and Pinion problem or a PowerSteering pump problem since I was having all sorts of problems ( Kicks, knocks, HARD steering ) while in place, but it turned out to only be a Loose Belt *tu*

Also, I had to replace the 2 front tires since the 4x4 tires the previous owner had on there were rubbing all over the place while turning the wheels.

As of now this is all I have, but I will be finishing removing the interior as soon as I am back from work later today and will post pics of the damaged floor so I can possibly get tips from some of you's to fix it properly.

Also, I have found myself a Hatch and a Door which I will be getting as soon as I find the time to make a trip to Montreal ( I'm from Quebec City )

Let me know what you's all think.

how much was it? please don't say more than 500$

I traded it for my 2003 Hyundai Accent, The previous owner gave me a CA18DET with the car also. So, I would say 1000ish...

Edit : Considering my Accent was probably worth 2000ish $, And that I sold the CA for about Half that, Yeah, 1000ish.

Damage in the Trunk :

Drivers side of the trunk will need a little re-constructive surgery :

This is the Only Hole in the Spare Tire Tub :

And full view of the tub, which is in reasonable condition :

I was told to verefy very carefully the Rear Shock Towers as they are really prone to rust on those cars, but they seem to be the best looking part in all that I have uncovered so far...

Pass side :

Drivers Side :

And this little hole right here, is going to have to be fixed pretty quick as it is right over the exhaust and lets hot air in and makes my feet very very warm ! :

Next step : Stripping the Rest of the Interior

are you driving the car like this?

On a regular basis, NO, but I do drive it to work ( Because I can use the shop to work on it during dead time, and they wont allow me to leave it there in the yard over night ) But it is only about 1KM drive... So I do drive it about 1-2 KM's a day, other than that I use the Company car, or my truck.
