Anyone know what car #52 Lancaster Racing is?

I often see several modded C5 Corvettes all sporting Lancaster Racing labels parked on my street (Mackay), in front of the Privateer and Not So Privateer bars. So I figure, there's something they are doing right...

He owns both places.

Every family member drives a Corvette. Michael Lancaster races both a Stohr Wf1 with a hayabusa 1440 motor, and a 750-800hp C6 Corvette.

By the way, any pictures of the two GT Racing Soilstices or the crew wearing funny clown pants??

The pics I have of these two cars aren't really any good.

I would've liked to see the crew in clown pants tho... Was that on Saturday or Sunday?

On Saturday we had 1 driver wearing the uniform, because we were keeping it clean and wearable to go out party at le petit caribou later that night. But on Sunday the whole team was sporting the ''funny pants''.

Big Thanks to our sponsor Loudmouth Golf.

Is that the Rabbit that ran at Icar last year on tuesday nights? with a new widebody? That car is insane!

Boxcarracer - VARAC has a discussion forum but its limited to members only - cheap at $75 a year if you want to join, but there's no need as we post all our newsletters on our website for download. If you go to www.varac.ca and check under "Vintage Racer", you can download our regular newletters - the next one is due out any day.

Cool, thanks!
That Formula Ford looks interesting

I think he paid $6K for that car - its an 80's car so its not competitive with modern FF cars yet is too young to be vintage. They are reliable cars, (they run the engine at 109 h.p. although in full race tune, that engine could make over 160 hp) so he gets a lot of fun out of it AND he gets to race at the support race for the F1 race - not bad for the money!

Mosport Celebration

I know you guys are more interested in Mont Tremblant racing but last weekend, VARAC raced at Mosport in the Celebration. As well as many of the cars who raced the weekend before at MT, we had several new vintage cars including a BRG Jaguar.

As usual, I shot an in car video from my 71 Ford Escort Mk.1 RS1600 - you can see it here [

I started at the back and finished second to the GT 350 who won the weekend before at MT.

Cheers

Walter
