Well actually I really love mine, and if you do a bit of digging, almost every user review says that the flash is better than the 430ex. I am no professional, but I can tell you the flash is very powerful, recycle time is actually pretty good. I would say its closer to the 530 than the 430. Obviously build quality is not as good as a Canon flash, but all and all I really like it!

Prices are prices, I bought my flash at Lozeau simply because it was on special at $179 instead of $329.

So then explain to me why I was able to get my flash at $179 instead of $329???

My philosophy, shop around for the best price, and buy it there, and look at specials too. B&H Photo though is usually the cheapest, and their inventory is amazing (I actually went when I was down in NYC, AMAZING STORE!!)

It's worth it man, I have researched a lot for Canon 50mm's (1.8, 1.4, 1.2L) and let me tell you that I am not one bit disappointed with this lens. Sharp L-series optics, verrryyy smooth bokeh...it's a mint piece of glass. *tu*
I also use it to film, it's absolutely great!
 
One day we could go shoot and i can lend you the 85LII in exchange for your 50 maybe!?
Or any of my lenses you wanna try.

^ i love the lens although i haven`t been shooting that much recently. I think these will be the only lens that i`m gonna use for a while since i gotta work on my "skills" and have better understanding of exposures and etc

ahah ya, My friend is in journalism at Concordia so he did the cover of KOTD and he needed a photograph for this so I helped him. But now, KOTD wants us to cover there events almost everytime we can ahah.

btw, Loes Ripped off EVERYONE that night.

I used to do photography professionally, stopped a while ago. Now, this is simply a hobby and I keep my pictures for myself, take pictures of watches, my cars, parties and etc. I use photography to capture memories, memories I only want to share with certain people :)


That being said, this thread was about photography equipment, you seen it :p
