Import vs. Domestics @ MIR Ken Nelson Owner, David Wolfe Driver/Owner Wolfe Race Craft and there 1990 Mustang LX just ran a record setting pass 6.57@227 mph on radial.
 
Yup Turbos work. Notice the racetrack? It's glued the whole 1/4 mile.
Otherwise the guy would be eating the guardrail, and quickly.

When you actually have cars that go 6s track prep is there. Why would anyone bother track prepping for all the slow cars here?

I see your point XxJDMCivicxX and here's another way to look at this. Slow tracks attract slow cars.
Lots of quick cars stay away from tracks that are not well prepped, for safety, and obviously traction reasons.
Even seven and some eight second cars need a well prepped track for safety and Quick ETs. Especially short wheelbase cars.
