FS: Like new ASUS UL30a Laptop (SILVER/13.3"/SU7300/4GB DDR3/500GB HDD/1.7kg) @ $500

For sale is a laptop which was used for a few months for work.

Specs:
- 1.3GHz Intel SU7300 (low-voltage) Core 2 Duo Processor
- 4GB of DDR3 RAM
- 500GB SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM) - No Optical Drive
- Intel GMA 4500MHD
- 0.3M Webcam
- Wi-Fi 802.11 bgn
- 13.3" HD LED LCD Display
- Windows Vista Home Premium

Condition: Laptop was babied, to the point where the removable mfg sticker with the specs is still on the palm rest area. However, a plastic piece on the bezel came off and would not stay on even with glue (see picture: http://www.trunkspace.ca/asusul30a/bezel.jpg). For this reason, I contacted ASUS support and had it RMAed. ASUS sent it back a few days ago with a brand new base bezel, and new LCD frame (still with plastic on them, see picture: http://www.trunkspace.ca/asusul30a/laptop.jpg). The laptop is basically NEW now, with the only sign of use being the keyboard (which can easily be swapped if needed, available on Ebay and held in by a few clips).

Answers to some questions I've gotten more than once by PM:

Q: Is it still under warranty?
A: Yes, I believe it's a 2 year warranty so there should be more than a year left.

Q: Can Windows 7 be installed onto it?
A: I had Win7 on it up until I did a full restore a few days ago. It is now running Vista, but you can purchase an upgrade to Windows 7 if you wish!

Q: Why are you selling it? Is there anything wrong with it?
A: There's nothing wrong with it at all! I work in the computer industry and like upgrading to the latest/greatest a lot. This laptop was great because of how light it is, but I moved from this (an ultra-low voltage processor in the SU7300) to a laptop with a Core i5 with a dedicated video card; problem is that the battery life on this was great and sucks on my new one, but I need to run some CAD software so I didn't have a choice.

I live in the West-Island.

The price is slightly negotiable. PM me!
