Speaking of mirror finish… what product do you guys recommend i use to clean/polish the chrome lips on my wheels?

Same thing. Mothers polish.
I did lots of stuff in my engine bay that was originaly all black with mothers polish, this thing is a miracle in a box...
I did my Precision turbo by hand also a couple years ago, started from a complete ceramic finish to a mirror polished look :
sanded with 400 grit :
600 Grit :
800 Grit :
1000-2000 Grit and mothers polish :

je l'ai enfin eu temp de le sortir du trailer depuis temps jai ete le chercher , jai pris les pieces que j'avais de besoin pour le wagon

J'ai commencer a commander les pieces pour rebatir le s38 , jai aussi demontrr les itb et les nettoyer , ils vont etre comme neuf apres

If you have the original lips on your ACS Type 2, they have a clear coat from factory on the lips and maybe that why it's harder to get a nice result.
The clear coat on mine was peeling in some area and I used paint stripper to removed it and polished the lips after

You might not be perfectly equipped either...Did you do it by hand or you had some kind of polishing wheel?

By hand.. I'm sure the right tools would help get more shine out of them also and be a lot faster!

Finally found my problem with tranny : tranny fall in safe mode around north carolina when i was going to miami . 4th gear 90km/h on 95 till miami was most long drive i ever had . Finally its was stupid connector that power all solenoids. At least i m enjoying my good time with bbq
