How well did you negociate your cell phone plan?

I've heard a few of my buddies say they have wild deals, under $50/month with more data/talk/text than necessary for moderate-heavy use (i.e. 350 day mins, 3g data, unlimited text/incoming/everything in).

Fido isn't giving me much. They and I both know it will cost me $590 to cancel my contract right now :squintfin, but they did give me a little break;

Iphone 3GS, 32GB for $49
350 DT mins/ Unlimited E&W
Unlimited text
500MB Data
Call ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail

Tax and everything in = ~$68/mth

I hear I'll have a lot more leverage towards the end of my contract...?


So, what are your plans, and how did you get them (assuming they're good).

Note that this is also my business phone, I do about 2000 to 3500 minutes of calling per month so the Quebec unlimited is good for me.

Its the 17.50 plan on which I receive 25$ in credits or so IIRC.

I coulda chose 6GB data for 10$ more but I usually do 300MB/month so there was no use of taking that option

I would like caller id only, but they force me to pay the 10$ package to get the rest of the garbage I don't need.
Goddamn odd business practices. Same goes for Videotron. If only I could pay 5$ a month for cable to have RDS exclusively and no other channel. I end up having to pay 35$ for one damn channel.

Not all the time. It depends who you get but usually they don't offer you anything good. Yes, they use too but not as good as before. You have to call several times to get what you what or like.
