Lately I've been noticing a lot of the MK4's are hitting the 220 000Km mark and MK5s hitting the 120 000Km mark. This means that many of these cars need their timing belts and water pumps serviced! Ignoring timing belt service intervals can lead to catastrophic engine failure, and we all know no one wants to replace an engine when simple maintenance could have easily prolonged its life.
Timing belt kits all included Continental timing belts as well as all required tensioners and an upgraded water pump with a METAL impaller, as the OEM plastic ones tend to fail early.
