I'm debating whether or not i should add the crew figures. They are always stuck in unnatural poses and it's hard to properly detail their hands and faces. It's the type of details that break immersion. I'm quite happy with how the NATO paint job came out.

I hope the Zvezda kit includes a missile. I want to recreate the photo on the box cover with lighted smoke.

Ok c'est pas à coller mais pareil. Au départ tu te dis bof c'est juste cher a cause de la marque. A la fin tu fais wtf c'est juste fou!

Il y a un shitload de leds mais à part ça rien de si spécial, les poignées de porte sont même pas alignées et mécaniquement on voit rien du steering, suspension etc si ça fonctionne.

Une poignée de led?

Regarde la taille des ouvertures de led justement dans les.pitons a l'intérieur.

Avec une de tes demi études en industriel je crois tu dois ben savoir qu'usiner a si petite précision c'est pas simple

C'est supposément fait à la main, sûrement par des chinois.
 
So I bought mods for my model. Full replacement engine, cockpit, gun bay and wheel well. Started painting the detail is already popping. Each module is a kit by itself so... this will be done in 2023.



 
Eduard parts? I might do that one day for a 1/32 plane but i'm waiting until i buy a house. Did the aftermarket parts end up costing more than the kit itself?

Aires and CMK. I think the kit came with Eduard photoetch as well. I don't know what it is with Czech Republic, but apparently that's where etching and resin happens.
And yeah. At least as much as the original kit. On my last model I started modding for the first time, and I think now I have a problem.

Eduard itself is ungodly expensive if you can even find it. This stuff was all from small-time online retailers.

Good idea about waiting for a house. Resin dust is super bad for you, not apartment material for sure.
