This thing is finally done! 15 months later...
There's a few mods to the kit. The engine nacelle bomb bay, extra landing gear parts, radiator ducting on the open engine and few odds and ends.

Est-ce que quelqu'un a des trucs pour imiter des vitres d'autos tintées? La vitre arrière est un morceau de plastique transparent.

Tamiya Smoke clear shooter au airbush marche. Plus que tu en met plus que c'est foncé. Tu shoots en dedans pis that's it.
Tu peux aussi shooté du noir, mais dure d'avoir une belle couche égale. Au soleil tu vois les ''grain' de peinture.

Merci! Je me demandais d'ailleurs comment ça marchait leurs couleurs transparentes :)
 
You can clear coat it, it will look alright then. Tamiya TS13. Just be really careful applying it on decals, it will burn them. Light coats.
You can also compound out the faint traces of panel liner around the trunk/door lines before applying clear coat.
Then polish, compound and wax :)

Also rattle can paints are hard to manage.

That Me410 is my new airplane lust. Looks great from every angle.

 
Nice! I might order a He-219 soon. I also learned that they make airplane models in the 1/24 scale. I will refrain from ordering any until i bought my house.

J'essaie de trouver un magasin local qui aurait le Tamiya XF-58 et qui est ouvert au public. Ça ne vaut vraiment pas la peine de le commander en ligne à cause des frais de shipping.

J'aime pas faire des shiny paint, surtout noir....mais j'ai fait exeption pour lui ;p

Hobby en ligne pas évident a trouver!

C'est un peu loin pour moi, j'habite à Lachine ;)

Habituellement je passe chez Ted's quand j'ai besoin de quelques cossins mais malheureusement vu qu'ils sont situés à l'intérieur d'un centre d'achats ils doivent rester fermés.

There's a hobby store in Chateauguay if ever you are hunting. Not sure if they are open though.
