So far, the best option for the R56S chipping, without going in USA, is the AccessPort from Alta. Also, for few bucks extra, you can contact RMW to remote program your AccessPort.

So far, RMW (Revolution MINI Works) tune for R56S (Cooper S turbo) is the best choice for the best results. They use two tuning devices for R56S: DimSport or AccessPORT. RMW (Jan: the tuning guy) travels around the USA to tune MINIs to each tuning party sessions (on dyno). The closest tuning party session from Montréal are Rochester,NY and Norwich,CT (7hours of driving in both cases). RMW also offers remote tuning from your local dyno area.
Beside RMW and you want to power-up as soon as possible without going in USA (or remote tune), you can purchase by your own the AccessPORT from Alta website. It comes with some performance maps (ans safe) develops by Alta and Cobb tuning for stock MINI Cooper S/JCW to light modded MINI Cooper S/JCW. You can install the AcesssPORT by yourself in your MINI (it's like installing a software on a computer, or updating a router firmware).
Anyways, no matter which path you choose (RMW tuning session or purchase AccessPORT from Alta), you will not notice the difference between them. Also both paths are reliable.

Go with revolution mini works, jan in a mini tuner since the r53 is on the market and he built some of the highest whp mini supercharged on stock supercharge
