It so funny that they are building arenas everywhere in Canada when there is a recession !
They are building one in Windsor too, a city that is bankrupted with no hockey NHL hockey team to just create a few lousy jobs so they can tear it down again once its finish to create more jobs ! ...LoL
MEANWHILE IN CHINA:
lol?
Wrong, they have foresight, they have 300,000,000 from rural areas moving there this coming year. China will require another 65 new cities to be built by 2030, but this is a idea, maybe we can invite the our First Nations people to move into the new arenas ! ...LoL Aren't we already doing this ? :dunno:
They cannot afford it and will never be able to, unless they provide it for free?
You're hilarious, quit speaking out of your ass
LoL ...They will have total of 255 mega cities alone, get that through your head, all western and European nations will look like a fucking tiny squats of shit with our silly so called 4 or 5 cities in Canada which "we" call mega cities, but no one else does !
vive le quebec libre! vous allez l'avoir votre pays...
fak si je comprends bien, on donne nos terre et notre sol a des compagnies avec des redevances a en crever de faim, mais on surtaxe la population de plus en plus. C'est quoi le message la dedans?
Before it was 6%+7.5% if I remember correctly so the compound difference is like 0.5%...not the end of the world.
This again.. china this, China that... Whit a thread started on sales tax. So funny. Wait, so boring.
Really, what are you getting from it ?
Then they wonder why people shop online...

In my humble opinion there should be NO income/capital gains taxes, but only sales tax (to pay for federal / provincial services), import duties (on everything) and property taxes (to pay for city services).C'est correct d'avoir une taxe de vente. L'état a 2 principales façon d'avoir de l'argent, impot et taxe de vente.

This way everyone pays tax, including undocumented workers, BS, etc.
The way it is today, our money is doubly taxed: once when you get your paycheck and again whenever you buy stuff. And some of us pay our taxes, while others don't.
Obviously, removing the income tax would mean the govt needs to become much leaner to make do with much less money.
Lots of fat could be trimmed especially at the provincial level. Why the F do we need a full government and parliament at the prov level? Many of our ministères duplicate function already present in the federal govt. Why do we need a duplicate immigration program and agencies? Why do we need a provincial tx collection agency when we're already paying for one at the fed level? Same for the provincial pension plan, ramq, etc.
Eliminate some (or all) of the redundancy and lowering taxes could become feasible.
