Buy it if the seller has good reviewsIm looking to buy a Longines Hydroconquest automatic for $700. Seller has no box/papers because it was her ex-boyfriend's but the watch seems pretty legit. What do y'all think?

For an SKX009

So I sent the serial number to Longines and they replied to me that they 'didn't have any information about this watch in Canada'Im looking to buy a Longines Hydroconquest automatic for $700. It could have been sold Grey market like through Costco type deal. Costco is notorious for selling grey market watchesSo I sent the serial number to Longines and they replied to me that they 'didn't have any information about this watch in Canada'
Does this mean that watch is not authentic? I never mentioned I was in Canada so the fact they know which country this watch is at means it's legit?

First of all, this is way too expensive for a Longines without box and papers. A guy on CanwatchCo sold a Longines Hydroconquest 41mm with box and papers (purchased new from Swatch Canada in April 2015) for less than $650 in 2019.
