So I have a generic USB-Serial interface and am trying to use it on my 2000 Jetta 1.8T (engine code AWD) and it will not comunicate.
My new laptop gets an error and my old laptop recognised the interface and said OK but just times out.
I need an old copy of VAGCOM that is compatible with the cable I have anyone have one lying around I am looking to do a scan for my O2 sensors as I am running CAT less DP but had some issues getting the old O2 sensor off my OEM pipe. Free version should do the job!
I may need a set of O2 sensors or at a minimum the rear one.
