So a stone hit my windshield, its now now cracked.
Need a new one.
Called dealer.
450$ glass
80$ for the moldings
350$ rain sensor
120$ glue
260$ (labour 2hour @ 130/h)
subtotal 1,260$ + taxes
total: 1,436$
does that sound about right?
Ps: i wasn't too happy with the quality of the glass to begin with. the car is slightly over 1 year old and the windshield was ever so pitted with "pinhole" chips. Visible only when driving into bright sunlight, however it's annoying enough. (and no I don't drive behind cement trucks)
Thanks in advance for your input, also anyone else find the quality of BMW glass to be mediocre?
