Calling all computer guys. This one is for you.
Looking for someone who is intelligent in computers & Software etc ..
I am looking to buy a New desktop computer.. I will be using the computer for Media “ etc.. I would like something quick. Something strong. Something unique. Something fast. Keep in mind I do touch base in Graphic design and mass email marketing for companies . on a daily basis I am sending over 35k of emails / promotions and designing flyers. I have a lot of programs opened at once, windows etc.. I have been shopping around .. Using Google..See what is best for me, But I have noticed being a Noob in the computer world. People just don’t want to give me the time of day, Or they want to Sell me something that I have no idea what how and where it comes from. Anyways.. Now im asking the help of all you computer genius on MR. knowing what I do for a living I would need something for my workspace. I Enjoy funky casing aswell ..I work in media it is always a PLUS. I know its just an add on, as well with the WASD Keyboards that are pretty catchy – What would be right for me ? Thanks MR.
My budget , well its reasonable, I wouldn’t Spend 2000$ on the computer itself , I would say 500 – 1200 being realistic

Btw, there's a lot of useless stuff in the list they "quoted" for you. Since you have a set budget, just ask for advice on a new build here. People will be glad to help you for free. Then search for the items on www.shopbot.ca and get the best prices.
 
Thanks toxicbug, I was thinking the same.. But I decide to post on offtopic since there isn’t a section- Now a days you would be surprised on how many people are computer smart.
 
Quicksir, I was thinking the same thing.. I do not mind spending but is it really what I need, all of that ? I would spend if it is reasonable in a sense that is realistic. As you said I earn a living with this tool but what is right for me.

PC à 1000$ aux 2 ans > PC à 2000$ aux 4 ans

La logique est simple. Un cpu à 500$ va être juste supposons 20% plus vite qu'un cpu à 200$. Un cpu à 200$ va être outdated disons dans 3-4 ans alors que lui à 500$ va l'être dans 4-5 ans. Un peu la même chose pour les GPU mais en pire. Tu peux mettre 1000$ de carte video aujourdhui mais dans 2 ans ça va être passé date mais tu vas encore vouloir étirer ton système qui a couté très chère. À la place tu y vas raisonnable genre une carte à 200$ et dans 2 ans tu la changes pour une autre carte à 200$.

Donc bref t'es mieux d'acheter ce qui offre le meilleur bang / buck et changer plus souvent. Ou bien acheter des upgrades morceaux séparément.

Moi généralement je fais un upgrade aux 6 mois- 1 an. Un upgrade parmis ceci et ce que je trouve qui est le "weak link" : Carte video, combu cpu/board/ram, les hard drives et l'écran.

Tsé mon ordi qui a couté 1000$ voilà 2 ans fais tout tout ce que je veux et à part prendre quelques centièmes de secondes de plus pour certains trucs il y a pas vraiment de différence avec ta bombe à 2000$. C'est pas comme voilà 10 ans ou la vitesse doublait en 2 ans. À part si t'es un gamer/passionné y'a pas de raison de mettre 2000$ sur un ordi. Si t'es gamer de toute façon c'est toute dans la carte video que ça se passe donc la logique du bang/buck pour le reste du PC s'applique quand même. Mon ordi a couté 1000$ vlà 3-4 ans....il va encore très bien mes les jeux ça suivait plus, j'ai foutu une carte video à 225$ dedans et voilà, j'achête la paix pour 2 ans.

Tu peux aussi investir un peu plus dans ce qui sert sur plusieurs plusieurs années et/ou est pratique à avoir. Comme un bon écran ou des bons speakers. Je vois tellement de monde avec des bombes à 2000$ mais un écran 22" à 99$. Un bon écran ça dure longtemps en maudit, une carte vidéo ça passe date plus vite que tu pain sur le comptoir.

J'irais avec un I7 2600k, 8gb de ram, 256gb de SSD + 1tb de disque dur, avec un carte graphique dans les 250$ exemple une 560TI

Tu peux te prendre un bon case avec des tite lumieres si tu veux du funky.. mais un cooling a l'eau ?... Ok..
