My 2000 Honda Civic SE is burning oil at an alarming rate. I honestly thought that I would be able to tough it out for another year, but it's disturbing me now.

I definitely DO NOT want to put another D16Y7 in there.

My question now is : With 2000$, what can I do? And who can do it for me ;)

I would go with the SIR as well, hands down!

For swaps, the only place I would want to take my Honda too, is Auto Laminar.
 
What would be the engine model for the SIR? Is 2000$ enough?

B16A2 seems to be the SIR engine, which seems to be roughly around 2000$.

I was thinking of spending 2000$ for everything(installation included.)

The engine does seem like a monster though....

You will have more fun in the long run with a B18.
