The SR-71 Blackbird.. pure porno

I can't fathom how they fashioned, engineered and built this kind of aircraft in the 50's.

It's one HELL of a machine. I wonder what one day will be able to surpass it...

engineer in those years do everything with absolutely nothing ... nowaday they have everything and they lost their mind in rhetoric theories but realize nothing ...

"Aspen 20, I show you at one thousand eight hundred and forty-two knots, across the ground."

3411.384 Kilometer/Hour (km/h) ... v6 dans pannes, yo

Going to see one next week at the Air Force museum in Dayton, Ohio... can't wait.
Also, they have a bunch of other planes that we saw on poster back when we were kids (F-1117, B2, P-51, F-15, couple of Migs, etc.)

Dans l'éventualité d'une guerre, Est-ce que sa pourrait arriver qu'ils remettent en service des avions comme sa ou s'est trop déshuet ?

You have a better chance of seeing Concorde fly again.

One of the biggest issues is that the fuel, JP-7 doesn't exist anymore. There is NO support base, no ground crew base, no current pilots. The aircraft are also very outdated equipment wise. The biggest cost or the SR-71 program was the continual tanker support.

Also here is a fun fact towards the end of it's life the SR-71 was no longer invincible as intercepts were possible with Mig-31s equipped with R-37 missles. It sorted did happen in 1986 over international waters....

Up, thread revival.

Le fichier semble suprimer. Quelqu'un aurait un link pour les Intouchables du même auteur. Sled Rider seul semble avoir monter pas mal!!!

Ou bien un commémorative set autour de 600 US, sur le site de l'auteur.

Yeah , the reservoirs when cold were leaking , as the heat rises in flight the joints elongating close the gap .

Not so much the heat, but the drag on the plane itself literally caused it to stretch ever so slightly, so once the airframe stretched a little bit, the fuel tanks would seal, as they needed to have some movement designed into them to stretch with the airframe.
