e60 scam or not ??

Give him a call, pull a carFax. If you see the story is headed somewhere else the nyou know its a scam. Also the first time you go see it , don't bring any cash on you just incase. Check the cars history.
 
lol used car dealer selling smth that looks too good to be true? most likely is... think about it, it the dealer is willing to sell it at 10k AND he still wants profit means that he got it like 5k...

like it was mentioned above most likely VGA /needs 10k of repairs right now... i would run away
 
I've seen some go for 8k in the summer... I was looking to pick one up but the 5series of that year isn't so nice and the larger engine...

The sad thing is that mid year E46's larger engines are still going for as much as the 2006 models. :(
