not a fan, I prefer the current one as well and that steering wheel mounted transmission lever is so awful, always reminds me of old big american cars.

I hated it at the beginning..but love it now. I just messes me up going from the E to the C because i always reach for it and it's not there lol

2014 E-Class

New 2014 MB E-Class surfaced...looks okay nothing too dramatic, more interested in seeing the AMG version of it
Official pictures of the sedan and wagon variants of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class have just popped up online ahead of its official unveiling scheduled for next month. The first images of the facelifted 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class have just been leaked online, just a few weeks ahead of the car's public debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. The official-looking pictures of the sedan and wagon variants reveal that the 2014 E-Class has received an extensive facelift with a revised front fascia. The outgoing model's squared face has been replaced with a redesigned grille and more sculpted bumper, while the quad headlights make room for single units on each side.

Changes to the rear are more subtle, made up of revised headlights and a new bumper, while the 2014 E-Class will also sport a new hood. From the interior shots it appears Mercedes has left the cabin almost entirely unaltered, save for some minor changes to the dash, a new steering wheel and reshaped air vents. The engine lineup is expected to include the 3.5-liter V6 for the E350, rated at 333 horsepower, a turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 good for 435 hp for the E500/E550, and a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 capable of 537 hp for the E63 AMG, which is poised to get a more distinct look itself. Expect more details and pictures in the coming days. http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2012/12/11/2014-Mercedes-E-Class-Pops-Up-Early-7712011/
