Junior/Intermediate PHP Developer
Description Our client, a dynamic and well established company is looking for a Web Developer, well versed in PHP and Linux platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and will be able to propose creative solutions to complex time constrained business requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Perform hands-on coding of new solutions and maintenance of existing code
• Participate in low level design decisions and regular peer code reviews
• Create documentation of code as well as regular status reporting to project managers
• Write unit tests and work closely with QA team for bug resolution
Prérequis/Requirements • Computer Science certificate (University degree a plus)
• 2-3 years in web development environments (LAMP- primarily PHP, Linux, Apache, MySQL)
• Strong Framework experience: Zend /Cake PHP / Symfony / Symfony Framework experience
• Good knowledge with PHP5
• Good knowledge of SQL/MySQL
• Mobile development on iOS or Android (a plus)
• Good communication skills
• Ideally bilingual (English a must, French a plus)
