Passat is back on stock suspension just need to pull the trunk setup and the wiring harnesses. Forgot how nice the stock suspension rides :D Truly going to miss this ride!

Wow GGTI nice Ghia! Tbh im not a huge fan of that model but yours looks very clean and nice, never seen on that color before..

Today finally fixed my issue with the broken rear centering plate bolts...
Basically they use a allen bolt with a short head...the bolts that come with the kit are obviously chinese crap and the design is terrible on them.
Went to Fastenal today and bought a box of grade 12.9(original were grade 10.9) good quality HoloChrome bolts..the issue here is that the short head isnt a standart thing..soo i got busy with the grinding wheel and grinded down the heads to sit flush into the centering plate holes..

As you can see in the picture from left to right, 1st is the original bolts supplied with the plates, 2nd is the new bolts, 3rd is after i grind down the heads. Did the charm and got the plates in today and the beam tightened up..

Also installed the stub axles in with the shims and bearings. Stopped after that since it got late, missing the calipers/brake lines and handbrake cables and im done for the rear end.

1991 Corrado

Found a 02A to 02J (Polo Shifter) conversion kit that someone purchased but never got to install. Bit of clean and lubrication and should be good to go. Perfect time to do this while the engine out. :D

Got the timing pulley cleaned and painted, just need to do the same to the intermittent shaft pulley.

Today since it wasnt raining I got some more done after work.
Fixed the brake line on the driver side(one from master to beam driver side). Installed the brand new beam flex lines and the harlines that go from the flex to the rear caliper along with the new retainer clips to hold it down. Didnt get to the passenger side since it got late once again. (Sorry no pics)

Also since it was nice I thought Id test fit the rear wheels since I had my shims and rear hubs installed..put on the disks and installed the wheels in the rear.

This is basically just -2deg. Added to the rear along with the ECS centering plates, Im very happy with how it turned out but I ordered some .5toe shims to correct the toe in due to the car beeing very low.

And yes these are my new wheels that I was rebuilding during the winter. They are OZ Pegasus 17x9/17x10

Now a that is left for the rear is to installed the new flex line and hardline to the caliper on the passenger side and also install both rear calipers/brakes and bleed the brakes. After that I will be moving to the front end work that needs to be done.

I like it! It will matched with the chrome trims and handles aswell with my new headlights that dont have anymore black in them. It sure is a conversation starter from what ive experienced so far haha.

Just sold my 2nd set to some guy in the states and made a very nice profit on them..period correct parts are going up in value.

So I changed my G65 sensor:

Used the occasion to put summer wheel which are oem B7 S4 wheels, needed 5mm up front to clear the Brembos

Was tired of fighting the driver side headlight connector, which I needed to remove in order to change the G65 sensor above, so I replaced it with a good one:

Tools :Terminal end removal tool, flat head jewlerer, led headlamp and a baby monitor.

Also changed the injectors on my B7 to cleaned and leak/flow/drip tested used ones:

I think it might help:

Like your new wheels I'm sure you'll appreciate the ease of cleaning these compared to your BBS.
