What did you do to your VW/Audi today?

bought some super sports 255/40/18 oem spec for the rs4!
$1300 tax in shipped to my door, which is a great deal (Canadian price)

and bought my mum winters & summers.

how to spend $2600 on tires in less than 24hours lol

also need a 2nd set of 18" for the rs4. cast, nothing fancy. needs to clear rs4 caliper + 380mm rotors

Washed the Audi's, installed my cupra lip.

Mounted the new Continental DW on my summer wheels. This week putting the summer kit on. After that alignement and then trying to shop for a good detailling. Can't stand the salt on the driver carpet!

After that its happy time!

So I tried the plasti-dip

Très impressionné! Maintenant, est-ce durable?...

3 can de plasti-dip noir. 2 can de metalizer.

Longue job, 10-12 heures, incluant les réparations

-Major scratchs on the 4 wheels *td*, (previous owner)

Plasti dip, 3-4 coats. All wet coats, event the tack coat ! Cans are around 40-50°C

No orange peel. Better than expected!

Metalizer , 1st coat. Wet coat. I used 3 coats at the end. No roange peel at all ! I have no dried picture. The plastidip will self-level.

End result. Trop foncé selon moi. J'aurais dû utiliser un fond charcoal.

Yesterday morning I replaced plastic shroud that I cracked at -20C when changing battery on Passat B5.5. Changed passenger side mirror on my Jetta. It was so corroded, the pivot part broke. Gotta love Kenny-u-pull! *tu*

Today i'll be changing AC compressor pulley on the Jetta. Sounds like marbles being rolled around in a glass jar! LOL

***Edit***

Holy Moose ballz Batman! Pulley was loose like ballz on a Moose! :yikes: Fixed that. A/C works! *tu* Changed oil and filter. Next interval 673 000km. Changed hand brake cables too. One was shot!

I will report. But I had a bad start. I didn't follow the instructions. It says on the cans to wait 8 hours before use.
My rear wheels got about 5 and 8 hours of dry time.
Front wheels, 2hours and the other 30 minutes.

Will see if the dust is inlaid...

and I used this how-to.

I've watched a couple, and this one is the best. He got all the little tricks in one vid
