Got more parts from vw today..new rear beam flex lines and hardlines to the caliper. Also all new clips for the hardline...probably going to scrub all the dirt off the beam and wirebrush the loose paint off the ends and give it a coat of paint also before putting the parts back on it

Bushing come out fairly easy? Looking at doing rear and front control arm on the Corrado. I see you marked them for alignment before pressing them in :D

Yup! Not many people realise this but there is a specific position they need to go back in...i marked the bushing and beam to make sure they were going in straight the whole way and didnt twist..

I believe corrado uses the same beam as a mk3? Was fairly easy to remove..i drilled out all all the rubber on the bushing and punched the center part out..then punched the outter bushing part from the beam...took less than 10min each side..

I know on the early mk4s like mine they have a rubber bushing. On later mk4s its a hydraulic oil filled bushing.
