SALUT wassap errybody
we needed a gaz friendly car so few months ago i bought a jetta mk4 and basically rebuilt it fully, without touching engine nor trans since they were already in good condition. (was my 1st car) so i found one for 2.5k that shifted and accelerated like butter! unfortunately its auto, every manual i test drove needed a trans rebuild lawl. i did as much work as i can but due to not having a garage i was kinda limited lol, since i don't have my rs4 or any fast car anymore i did go a bit overboard with the build. DISCLAIMER: it's a 2.0slow so i can control my spending and gas. This is just a quick build for reliably. goal is always to get a Porsche in the end, unless i change my mind. My top garages as always are Strasse Autowerks and Rombotis. scottie/vitali and mike are just beasts. been going to them 10+years at this point.
swapped full interior form my mums old mk4 and misc engine parts and random stuff
swapped trunk, old trunk was so rusted couldnt bolt new plate
deautoled brake lights and reverse lights
pioneer stereo, pioneer backup camera
led interior
sylvania led bulbs 9007 for headlights (aimed properly, does not blind traffic)
ecs tuning fog grill kit, is GARBAGE, i had to zip tie each end.
ziza led fog lights
Kirkland battery
fresh tints
longs beach 17"
vw jetta city wheels 15"
audi b8.5 s4 bolts
winters: MICHELIN X-ICE NORTH 4 STUDDED 195/65 R15
summers: MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 S 225/45 ZR17
flushed all fluids
fixed everything mechanically that was needed/necessary such as rebuilding all calipers, cv boot tear, brakes, new coilovers etc.
Overall it was still cheaper doing all this work and buying new tires than buying a used car from dealer or kijiji lol
EDIT: just trying to find a trunk or gonna get it painted
