What did you do to your VW/Audi today?

Soo ive been working on this just now...i dont know if ill keep this look or just say fuck it and wrinkle the valve cover...

So basically im passing a fine wire wheel on the whole valve cover...my plan next is to attempt to give it a brushed finish on the top flat part only...well see were this goes..

I also shaved one of the 2 tabs but that ended up leaving a crease(i was assuming it would be level) and also removed the park number...

Need to find a stationary grinder extension

Well not all lost if you don't like the finish you'll be ready for paint. Good luck with the wrinkle paint I had no luck with it.

cracked a rim badly = garbage. Running on 3 winters and a summer. shit fish tails like no tomorrow argh. Getting it changed friday

Exactly. Ive already used the wrinkle to paint my engine block/trans and accessories..most of it came out very nice.

Well my buddy found an already polished valve cover and picked it up for me..needs a bit of love but atleast the hardest part is done....now im gonna have to polish the injector hardlines also to make it match. Its gonna look good!

Had a cold start stall today on my A3 3.2. Car fires up, then stalls out immediately. Have to crank again to get it to start. Only happens when very cold out. But doesn't happen all the time. Never when it's warm. Changed the coolant temperature sensor and fuel filter last year, didn't help. Mechanic thinks it's because I do short trips causing humidity to build up and then freeze making it hard to start. Or maybe dirty injectors. Suggests I do a fuel injector cleaning and change spark plugs at the same time.
 
So Santa came early this year! Some of you may remember this spring when I took the Passat buyback, I was looking at Audi TTRS and by the time the buyback took place the cars I was looking at where no longer available. All of the others ones at that time were overpriced for the mileage on them. Found a 2012 TTRS black, which was my preferred color with only 24,000km. One owner, never winter driven, garage stored beauty. Car mint, no dents, scratches or chips. Only drawback to the dealer in Moncton, NB. So stoked can't wait to pick it up. The MK3 GTI will be going up for sale this spring.

now all u need is a DSG swap... otherwise imma beat you with my chipped Golf R lol

Thanks, car's off warranty so first planned mod is APR Stage 1 tune which takes it to 410hp, 447ft./lbs on 93 octane. That will be this spring but your right hard to compete with DSG! When that gets old there's alway the Stage 3 for $8,000.00 US :yikes:

i really thought i would have missed the VR6 in the R32... but really... i dont. Maybe just the sound... otherwise the car is much more refined and all the tech features. The extra 50hp is amazing. Cant wait till i do a JB4 or Neuspeed module
