What did you do to your VW/Audi today?

Someone can aware me on vagcom?

Is it possible to deactivate stability control completly with it?

Let's say on a base golf you wan't to find a way to turn it off, what can be done (if anything can be done...)?

Read in one of the Audi forums that this could be programmed out via Vagcom. Let me see if I can find the thread again. At least it while give you an idea where to go looking and see if you can apply it to your application. I would think it would be in - ABS Brake - Coding - go through the bits and see if coding is there to disable.

Met him last week to order an ecs clutch kit.
He has amazing prices compared to other ecs retailers.

I need to order a ECS clutch + lwfw also .

I should see with him I guess.

Id really like to do it my self, it's straight forward, and I really like to do this, i did many clutch job, but not on audi's. Its way longer. So I'm thinking to go somewhere.

I did a strong pull on the 40 yesterday, 6 to 3, 3-to-4 slipppp hard, 4 to 5, slippp hard. And I don'T have too much power...
 
Removed the injectors off the ALH this week and painted the bodies gloss black with engine enamel paint since they were all rusty. I also got new Injector seals but There is still one that is stuck in the engine and I am not able to remove it at all after trying many different things....i am waiting to see if my buddy has a special seal extractor to remove the washer...or else Ill probably try ordering a cheap one off ebay...

did you try with a zip gun?

Ended up getting it out with by punching a small flathead on the copper seal towards the inside and deforming it...was really my last option but had no choice

Its not supposed to be stuck that bad. I think its for 2 reasons...injector was overtorqued and in that same cylinder i cracked a pistom due to my egta beeing to high 2 yrs ago...the heat may have not helped either.

I think this like a 7 hour job or so on a b6 :cry:

So I just received the package today !
Ra4 stage 2 clutch kit from ecs which is basically an b5 rs4 clutch, b5 rs4 pressure plate and the ecs lighweight flywheel---->12 pounds instead of the stock 26.
Good enough for 375 hp

stock sline shock, I bought the car 2 years ago @ 85k km. they still good even on H&R springs from essex.

CTS turbo exhaust, ss304, very quiet, low drone.

and today I've installed a android rns-e android copy. 8 core , 4gb ram. its a very nice head unit for the price. can fit b6 as well.

Still have the cassette player lol
