Just finished detailing the car. Only thing I hate about washing my car is it always reminds me how much rust there is loll. At least my rims are clean as hell tho lol.

Was at the Euro Life meet in Boucherville last night with my son, met some familiar faces and new ones. Had a great time, but on our way home only a few exit from home disaster :yikes:. C.A.T. Tractor trailer blow a tire, it first hit a 5 ton International delivery truck then a Honda Odyssey as it came of the rig. My son then hit a large chuck that sat in the passing lane and sent it airborne only to land directly in front of my Passat. C.A.T. driver was apologetic to everyone and mentioned that she had done her full inspection of the trailer prior to departure. Days before she had refused to haul a trailer that had bald trailer tires. Anyways off to the bodyshop this morning*banghead*

Some how lost a centre cap on the Bentleys

:yikes: Noooo!! Thats terrible!! Luckily insurance will cover it right?

It really could have been a lot worst, would take more then this for us to not attend the meet when we can. Was nice meeting and talking to you as well!

You know... for your son's car, you could try a zip tie drift stitch repair for now until you get the new bumper

When kids do it, most of the the time it turns out horrible. But you guys are patient and precise. I think you could pull it off nicely.

You must a mind reader we were just talking about doing just that lol

I think its a good idea. It'll let you drive the car until the new part arrives and who knows, you might just like the look. Also while the crack is noticeable. Its not too too big in the sense your car will look like the joker when its all stitched it.

You can use a soldering gun to stitch the plastic temporarily. Looks less ghetto

We are going to leave the cars at the body shop my son take the bus to work and I'm back at work next week for the next two weeks. This way they can do proper teardown and get all the parts coming in one shot.

Not me but my parents signed for a 16 gti autobahn with tech pakage. Can't wait to be the fuck out of it. They get it Monday and they are leaving Tuesday for a two weeks vacation!
