How hard is it to find an apartment in St. Anne's near John Abbott?

I have been thinking of buying a house to convert into student apartments.

A few years back it was tough to find anything, not sure about now...

And how much do apartments or just a room go for?

Is Res always full?

Thanks!

The places become fucking dumps very very quickly after all those JAC parties. I know because i attended most of em.

You're probably going to find it cheaper to get an apartment in Ile Perrot and just either take the bus across the bridge, bicycle or walk. There's a nice bicycle path now, from my house it's less than 20 minutes by bicycle to John Abbott. Also it's quieter. Ste-Anne gets really noisy during the good season.

I am not looking to rent...

I am looking to buy and rent out. I figure like someone said most are dumps so if I keep one in decent shape it would rent out. I would want it to be walking distance.

I am just not sure if there is a short supply of rentals like there were a few years ago
