Boxster or Boxster S or Z4M or Z4 35i , Opinions?

Une boxster S ca se compare a une civic SI coté accélération (mid 14's) alors tu es sur qu'une Z4M à la meme accélération ?
J'ai déja essayé un boxster 2008, c'est plaisant à chauffer, beau son ,mais sa manque de puissance.
Loll Vous me faites rire 0-60 en moyenne a 4.8 et ca manque de puissance

J'opterais pour la z4m (plaisir de conduite, performance, look...), mais à mon avis si tu trouvais que ta m3 n'était pas pratique, je ne vois pas en quoi les modèles que tu cibles le seront davantage...

Ma M3 a beaucoup de modif , Coilovers , Headers , eXhaust, Clutch performance , etc , le fun juste quand la route est belle et que la blonde est pas assises a cote ;)

Z4m coupe without a doubt!!! Si tu as la chance de mettre ta main sur une des rare coupe en bon etat saute dessus!!!
Si tu lis bien c'est mon week-end toy et je veux un convertible en plus j'ai déja un E92 335Xi

Update durant les dernieres semaine j'ai essayer toutes les voitures mentionée , quelques impressions,

Boxster 2007,
Nice car great handling, great sound but nothing special

BMW Z4M roadster,
Quite fun , great power, twitchy , noisy cool for short ride but like the M3 gets old fast

BMW Z4 35i
A beauty , Twin Turbo , POS runflat ride like briks , I still liked it a lot but in the end decided against because even tough it has a hard top its really the least practical car on my list and has almost no trunk space

Boxster S 2009,
1 word WOW! I did not expect to like it so much


So I gave a deposit on this car I will be going to see Monday in Toronto (Canadian Car with clean Carfax) and if everything works out she will be my new toy :)

ta jamais conduit une Boxster S c est évident. Ta conduit une Boxster 5 vitesses avec un badge S... ;)

C est ~300lbs plus léger qu une M Z4 roadster une Boxster S.

-M Z4 I-6 3.2L: 330hp/ 265lbs/ft, 250kmh
-Boxster S H-6 3.4L: 290-310hp / 266lbs/ft, 275kmh

Pis ça roule mid 14. :run:

LOL? SRS? Boxter S 2006, 280 HP, 0-100 en 5.2 seconde, 1/4 mile dans les mid 13.

I'm not a fan of the boxter personally but I think it's being judged unfairly.
It's not made to be a straight line demon and makes up for its lack of power with superior handling.
There's a reason why it gets such amazing reviews boys.

I'd still never buy one because it doesn't cater to my needs personally but it's not a shit car by far

It always amazes me when people say that the Boxster S is underpowered (Usually on BMW boards ;) )
Here are the specifications of the cars I was looking at

2006-2008 Z4M Roadster
Power (SAE net): 330 bhp @ 7900 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 262 lb-ft @ 4900 rpm
Curb weight: 3200 lbs

2009-2010 Z4 35i
Power (SAE net): 300 bhp @ 5800 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 300 lb-ft @ 1400 rpm (The reason I love this engine sooo much)
Curb weight: 3450 lbs

2007-2008 Boxster S
Power (SAE net): 295 bhp @ 6250 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 251 lb-ft @ 4400-6000 rpm
Curb weight: 2975 lbs


My Choice
2009-2010 Boxster S

Power (SAE net): 310 bhp @ 6400 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 266 lb-ft @ 4400-5500 rpm
Curb weight: 2980 lbs
 
Bon choix, et comme je disais les boxster sont lente ,mais je ne parlais pas des boxster S ;) Je trouvais l'intérieur particulièrement beau en brun et l'extérieur avec les mags 10 branches. Le pack sport chrono est assez semblable pour le look

I went to see the car as planned 2 weeks ago and was very happy with it ,it had clean Carfax and Carproof and was well maintained Ii had the PPI done at Downtown Porsche in Toronto and picked her up last Wednesday afternoon and drove her back to Montreal with the top down and a smile on my face most of the way ;)

Here how she looked when I picked her up




And here she is in the garage after a good wash and quick wax




Obviously being a regular on car forums I can't leave well enough alone and I'm working on which mods to do
First will be a Dream 2 X-Pipe exhaust accumulator ,Which I will paint gloss black
and to keep the theme I thinking to paint the side vents and wheels to match the body

J'ai travaillé dans les deux marques et si tu veux pas mettre d'argent dans ton auto... Achète la Porsche. Fais juste très attention de bien nettoyer les drains du toit convertible sinon, ils finissent par boucher, le trou se remplis d'eau et ça fini par rentrer dans l'auto. Ensuite, ça coule sous le banc ou t'a le module qui contrôle les lumières arrières, l'aileron rétractable et l'anti-démarreur. Quand l'eau pogne là-dedans, les lumières et l'aileron viennent folles et un moment donné, le char ne part plus. À part ça, ça ne brise presque pas. Avec une BMW tu mange des ball-joints, tie-rods, bushings de tables et stab-link pour déjeuner. Ça se change très rarement sur une Porsche. Par contre, les deux sont trippante mais bien différentes l'une de l'autre sur une track...
