I recently got a P20 and switched from Telus back to Rogers.. The Pro was too expensive but a good size, the P20 is a tad smaller than my previous phones but so far I am loving the camera and it's nice to have NFC again. I would have kept my Xiaomi if the screen wasn't destroyed
 
To pixel 2 XL owners: how are you finding your long term experience ? Looking to switch from an S7 after 2 years and don't want another Samsung or an iPhone. How's the battery life? Android P?

Had mine since November. Its still great. Pics are amazing and it didn't slow down at all. Android P is out for it since a week ish ago. Battery seems to last a bit less than before but still gets me through my ~18-21 hour days.

Had mine since launch.

Absolutely love it. The camera, the speed and now Android P (love the notification settings and some small tweaks to the interface).

Still very fast, love the ambient display, front facing speakers. I use the squeeze sometimes but find that I use ok Google more often.

I wish it had a headphone jack sometimes, just when I am in the plane and want to listen for a very long period (and charge).

Oh and I dropped it a LOT on the floor/concrete/asphalt and it has not broken. I only have an extremely thin case on it. I do have one tiny scratch in the display though but I can't believe I have not yet shattered the screen.

If I can do it over again, I would. I miss my pixel xl 2, I was thinking of selling the s9+ to get another one.

Thanks guys, hesitating between the pixel 2 and oneplus 6 now... Love the headphone jack and sd845, all for a lower price but hate the notch and no front firing speakers.

J'ai pas lu les 240 pages du thread mais j'ai une question.
J'ai présentement un Note3, oui je suis encore à cette époque.

Je veux faire un upgrade car il commence à dropper des calls et faire des siennes malgré un factory reset.
Normalement je conserve mes téléphones longtemps 3-5ans.

-Je veux un écran de la grosseur semblable au note3.
-Android
-J'utilise Office360 donc MS exchange
-J'ai besoin d'une bonne batterie

J'ai eu une excellente expérience avec le note3 donc je penche pour un note8, vos avis?
 
yen a pu des grosseur du note 3, du moins pour la largeur. check le note 9 qui sort dans 1 mois a peu pres, battery 4000mah et tout ce que le s9+ a.

j'en suis presque rendu la aussi avec mon note 3. y va encore tres bien, mais les jeux commence a lager. j'apelle presque jamais et je texte tres peu. twitter et photo. c'est presque plus un outil qu'autre chose, ce pourquoi je le tough encore.

J'ai vu le note9 mais j'ai pas envie de payer 1500$ pour un téléphone non plus.
J'ai un forfait partagé avec ma blonde qui me coûte 75$ pour 7Gb - Qc illimité alors je veux pas me ramasser non plus avec un forfait à 150$ pour "avoir le droit" de payer mon téléphone 600$.....
 
congrats pour garder tes cell longtemps, sont rare le monde de même.

SI tu veux en garder un autre longtemps et ne pas payer 1000$, j'irais avec les OnePlus, version 8 gig de RAM. Tu es certain de faire un bon 5 ans sans slow down intense, si google ne changent pas leur bases bien sur.

Je te suggère de regarder le prix ''financé'' avec contrat, souvent sur du long terme avoir un téléphone unlocked BYOD reviens beaucoup moins cher, donc le 800$ cad du oneplus, est avantageux.

Check les reviews, pour le prix ya pas grand chose qui bas ça en amérique du nord. batterie intense, charge ultra rapide, photos dans les top 5. jack port, snapdragon 845.
