Elegance Auto Detailing - Montreal's Detailing Products Supplier

Hi guys,

After having a good success with the ordering of products for others on eShine, I had the idea to open a store and become the local supplier for the Montreal area. The Toronto area has eShine, the Calgary/Edmonton area has Auto Obsessed, Vancouver has AutoWerkesExclusive and Montreal has...nothing of significance. So I started talking with some people and getting information on product importation and purchasing from major suppliers and I currently stock the most popular products.

A little more about how I'm doing this;

I do not hold just 1-2 brands exclusively, but on the other hand, carry many products from many brands, but nothing that isn't popular enough to keep on hand. I can still order special products for those that want them. Already having a good base of products (nearly 40) I am looking at getting your input on what you would like to see in stock in Montreal, all the time. Prices are very similar to eShine, roughly only $1 more on most items, but you can come by any time and never have to pay shipping! Items can now be purchasable on-line, paid for via PayPal and picked up afterwards. This avoid having to bring the exact amount or leaving with change. le probleme que tu va avoir c'Est qu'au quebec faut tu charge 2 taxes et quand tu commande en ontario c'est 5% mais l'idée est bonne !!!

En theorie, meme quand on commande de l'Ontario, il faut legalement garder les factures et les declarer au impot pour payer la taxe de vente du quebec. Personne le fait par contre. En tant que revendeur/fournisseur legitime, je vais devoir payer ces 2 taxes et les charger du meme coup.

Mais l'idee n'est pas nessesairement de sauver des gros montant d'argent, c'est plutot d'avoir access rapidement a tous ces produits, qui sont souvent en backorder ailleurs. Donc backorder + shipping time = mauvaise experience; quelque chsoe que j'aimerai eliminer en ayant le tout locale.

Pour les cires, y'a tellement de choix que ce serait dificile de tenir en stock des choix qui partirait facilement ou qui ferait plaisir a beaucoup de monde....autre que Collinite bien entendu.

que suggere-tu comme scellant? Menzerna Powerlock? BlackFire Wet Diamond? Autre?

Et pour les nano coatings, je prefere laisser ca au plus gros revendeur car c'est pas ultra populaire pour les particuliers.

Pourtant, la mienne a durer plus d'un an et j'ai fait 200+ lavage avec. Je sais que les brosse sont fragile, mais ca va etre different pour tout le monde le temps qu'elle vont durer car pas tout le monde leur faire attention de la meme maniere.


For Gallon size quick detailer, I would leave that to special order as it would not be a "popular" selling item. I will be stocking the 23oz Zymol quick detailer though.

For the sealant...1 more vote for Powerlock and I'll get that in as well (16oz, for now)

There is a local store for detailing supplies Joey. It's www.thedetailingshop.com, he's been around for a long time. We used to meet in person so no shipping charges and I believe no tax. He has a wide variety of products too.

I'm aware of him, but I sent him numerous messages last year and never got replies, as did a few other people I spoke with. He also doesn't have an actual address, he comes to meet you somewhere else, which kind of bugs me. I want to offer a place people can come by and actually see what's there and even try product before they buy if they aren't sure about something.

Good news, 4-5 products will be in stock as of this afternoon. I will have the update on the website by this evening as well.
