never tried their food but definitely willing to try. Heard it was pretty good. Any recommendations?

I'm fairly certain the SAQ sells vodka.

In reality, my Russian friend at work used to always bring me stuff from a Russian deli near cote at luc. It wasn't hot, more stuff that you boil or put in the oven, but it was all spectacular. I'll get the name, unless if someone else knows what it's called.

Ermitage is good and La Caverne www.lacaverne.ca but your best bet would be to eat at a Russians friends place or something, much better food that can't really be compared to the restaurants.

I just get my mom to cook ... I do miss my grandmothers cooking though :(
