Dollar Shave Club

A sec? Tu malade je prend du gillette peau sensible en gel qui devient mousse.

I do double edge razors. Blades are like 5c apiece and last a good 5-6 shaves, more if you have a light beard.

Will do straight razor eventually but I don't have the patience right now.

Regardless... I am done with cartridge razors and the like

Dealextreme can get you everything you need to try it out for 10 bucks all in. Just bring your own shaving cream/soap/paste.

Razor:

10pk blades:

Cheapo brush:

Standard 6 month lead time (lol) but for that price worth the experiment.

Protip: use COLD water.
Protip: If you have sensitive skin or rough beard hair NEVER go against the grain
Protip: Do not use too much pressure
Protip: Vary the angle of the razor to get the best exposure (needs some experimentation)

Question for you or others that might know.. Can these type or rasors be used for hair? I usually use a regular cheapo gillette razor for my head but I dont really like it... Any ideas? This seems interesting

I don't see why not. Scalp is nicely stretched skin so it should work fine as long as it doesn't grow too long. Maybe the angle will be awkward though, and I'm sure the blade would get choked with hair quickly. But in that case it's easy to open and clean.

I think Headblade is a specially made razor for the cueball look. Seems to get good reviews?

Buy blades on ebay, profit.

Penultimate razor blades. Rest is shit.

Since I found out about Dorco about a year and a half ago I've never looked back. I'm still using the blades that were in my first order (Tester Pack) .. Prices are solid and quality is good!

Free shipping if you order over a certain amount. I ordered with my gf (they sell both male and female packs) so we got free shipping and we still have blades for a long while.

Update with this kit, 2 shaves so far. What a difference, I'm now sold on DE. Using Arko shaving soap, love the scent.

I'm already looking to upgrade to a Maggard razor (possibly the MR3) and keep the DX one for traveling eventually. Same with the brush, possibly the Omega 10049 (and keep the DX one for traveling).

Good website for shaving stuff. Comes from ontario so only 1 tax and shipping usually takes only 2 days.

A lot of choice for straight blades and safety razors. I personally use the Merkur 34C and love it.
