Hey guys I'm looking for some good traction aids. All you can find nowadays in stores are these cheap plastic ones..

I'm looking for a store where I could get these : http://shared2.mainehost.net/~odpsylri/index.html

My dad has had a set for 20 years and they are still going strong! And provide more traction + dont break compared to what you find at canadian tire.

Thanks guys

EDIT* If you guys have a better product for getting my fat RWD car unstuck (not that I plan on getting stuck) share!

Classic....my dad had some too. When I saw those, I thought "I bet Princess Auto carries those..." sure enough:

.....aaaaand I just noticed it says they are not available anymore :(

These look like a good alternative:

Comes with gloves and a flashlight :p

wtf every dad have them lol ? mine have a pair too i would love to get one aslo :\
and the one you posted are crap even if they're in metal the fact that it fold make them way less good ( i had similar one)

@-Mike- le gourou du off road as tu d'autre alternatives?

I use this to get unstuck (more to help out people cuz I don't get stuck). More work, but can be used in many situations.

Mine is the same without the spike/pickax thing. Canadian Tire should have something similar in the camping section.
