hey first time selling car, need some advice

Hey guys, it's the first time selling a car and I need some advice selling mine. I've already posted it on Kijiji and I was wondering what else is there I can do to sell it. My friends told me to come here where I might get some help. I've also been told to post it on LesPAC but apparently it costs money....Are there any other websites I should be aware of, any other selling venues where I should be posting my car, any out of the box selling methods or techniques, should I be spending money to sell it, or maybe look into places where people will buy used car from the owners? Thank you.
Here's the kijiji ad as well, can anyone tell me if it looks good? Am I missing any information or details about the car I should be putting? Should I translate the information to French as well? Oui tu devrais payer pour l'annoncer ca vaut la peine
Oui tu devrais faire une annonce bilingue ou une autre annonce mais en francais
Affiche sur MR, dans vw/audi a vendre et dans auto 15 000+

Et parle en dans ton entourage ca aide aussi

Be patient selling a car like that, it won't sell overnight. Don't go sell it to a dealership, it's an 05 they will give you a lot less than its worth

Like others said, that car will take some time to sell, eventhough it is the right season to sell it.

also, lespac does cost money but it also the place where you typically get the least bullshit offers. Same can't be said about kijiji.
 
x2 for lepacs...80% of kijiji buyers are just window shopping and throw meaningless offers at you, then out of the the 20% of the serious guys with money,1/2 of them will choke.
 
Hey guys thanks, merci! I'll check out the other websites and post it there as well. I'll work on translating/making a French ad as well. Would you suggest putting a "A Vendre" sign and driving around/parking it in high traffic areas as well? Also, should I go to julep and other car meets and try to sell it there? Very well written up ad; I'd post it on as many websites as possible... A french version would also be a + as mentioned.
 
Hey thanks for the great advice guys, merci! Got a text from a 347 NYC number asking if my car was still up for sale, and to email him at davidmath002@hotmail.com. Found it a little suspicious that he didn't email me or call me (like 90% of the others did) and that a guy from NYC would be interested in a car 5 hours away, so did a little research and I found this interesting page http://www.callercenter.com/631-803-9845.html (different number, but same email address). Now my spidey senses are telling me it's a scammer, what do you guys think?

its a scammer, just read 3-4 of the post and the red lights flash to my face.
 
Hey guys for the french ads, would you suggest making identical separate ads but with the text in French, or just translating and copy-pasting the text on the already existing ads? My concern is that I don't wanna break any rules on this website or kijiji for double posting, spamming and whatnot. Thanks, merci!
