Done on schedule .
Need to finish up the timing but no leaks or weird noise except the 1st couple minute idling it ran like crap ( noisy ) empty lifters :dunno:
Motor before been dropped in .
Transmission all cleaned up with new clutch bearing.
I was afraid the car will tilt ( empty engine bay and cross member off ) so I had strap the frame to the lift but after shaking it looks like it was not going to be a issue but still.

Getting ready to bolt the cross member up to the frame.

Everything is hooked and bolted up in place ready for start up.
At least it is cleaner , just for that it worth it.
There's still more to do but I can live with that for now + winter is around the corner so I'll take all kind of stuff apart soon.
Still have to clean the inner fender , bunch of spray paint from been painted at one time.
Not too familiar with timing the distributor but I think I may be 1 tooth off because ( if I understand this right ) the line at the bottom of the casing of the distributor should be about right on the small line on the block to be at about 10 degree BTDC and if I bring it there it doesn't run very good. :dunno:
I'll work on this tomorrow evening and maybe I'll do a test drive . *tu*
