C'est juste toi qui est attardé et qui est pas capable d'utilisé la fonction research quand tu sais pertinamment qu'un thread existe déjà
 
J'ai utilisé mais un titre intitulé Choix Whiskey avec.. Je cherche une bouteille...comme descriptif c'était nébuleux.

Bon move des mods pour le titre :)
 
Si tu veut mon avis il devrait y avoir seulement 1 Thread Spiritueux pis thats it.

Parce que la avec rhum et whisky a part il se retrouve super loin a chaque fois. Oui sa facilite la recherche mais quand même.

Metons oublie partir un thread de gin il as surement pas assé d'amateur mais malgré tout moi perso c'est mon spiritueux préférer et quess qui se fait au Québec présentement est complement malade.

Nez : Poires, gingembre, amandes et de beaux fruits mûrs. Bouche : Du beau chêne brûlé, de la cassonade, de la vanille et beaucoup de xérès. Menoum. Finale : D’une belle longueur, fruitée et sucrée.
 
J'pense ben m'acheter un scotch ben tourbé et/ou fumé en fin de semaine...

Je pensais aux classiques comme candidats potentiels
Bowmore 12/15, Lagavulin, Laphroiag, Talisker

mais aussi, last but not least... BIG ***king PEAT !

Highland park 18 serait débile mais est rendu un peu dispendieux à 180$ .La dernière bouteille que j'ai acheté m'avais couté 120$ à la SAQ... en une dizaine d'années c,est fou comment les prix ont augmentés (demande internationale et offre limitée due au vieillissement)

Edit: même des trucs rapeux/rough comme le isle of jura 10 ans sont rendu 65$...ouch
 
Mon dieu, gouté un shot de Jack hier... Chaque fois jme surprend à trouvé ca de pire en pire. Maudit que je comprends pas comment c'est devenu si populaire.

This is why you see more special blends or editions without age numbers because it sits for the min 3 years then can be sold as Scotch. The sad part is lots of the international demand was always there(especially in India/ SE Asia where they always distilled their own) the large distillers and a big part of it thanks to LVHM(Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Erdington etc) figured out if you market it as a luxury item, charge more and people will still buy it... then everyone jumped on board.

The rising cost of Scotch is one of the reasons why bourbon started getting popular.. you can get more for your money and sometimes more complexity.

The value of the $CAD compared to the USD and EUR makes a big difference as well. Those products are all imported and the CAD dropped by a lot in the last few years.

Not as big as you would think and yes it's all sold in USD for Spirits, not EUR or GBP. I could find out about wine

The good stuff still sells for about the same price in the USA. Where you notice the savings is on bar rail makes and handle jugs. Let's take 750ml Glenfarclas 21.. about 130$ USD vs 153$ CDN at SAQ... Talisker 10 60$ USD vs 78$ CDN. Yea you get Costco selling stuff for dirt cheap or exceptions in stores, again in handles or 1.75L format but the good stuff still is priced accordingly unless on sale. Even most duty free the pricing will be so-so, I only really purchase if its a good deal or something I can't find here. I was just in the UK and bought 2 bottles from Costco in London. There was a bit of savings but nothing spectacular. £115 for Dom Pérignon vs 260$ here and Highland Park 18 for £95 or 170$ vs 200$. What does effect the pricing from market to market is the amount of taxes... but for lots of items SAQ is priced accordingly for Spirits vs other markets.

With the exchange rate right now, there's a bunch of spirits which are actually cheaper to buy at SAQ then elsewhere in the world. Specially in EU.
 
What I meant is that the CAD value is reflected in the SAQ pricetags. When the CAD was appreciating, they lieered prices on many items. When the opposite happened, the started increasing prices. Spirits and wines.

Ce week-end,

2 très bonne bouteilles complètement différentes.

Ce Dalmore est un de mes favoris. Super rond, des notes assez sucrée merci.

Le Lagavulin, très fumé, du chêne et une arome assez cendrée.Très frais. Moins mon style mais on sait reconnaitre un bon travail.
