Depends how you define value, but yes it can be a good buy for someone that want's to try an Islay scotch for little money.
Similar to Bowmore 12 but much younger, it's probably aged only 3-5 years.

Pretty good for the price.

Oh I forgot Aberlour are also a good single malt for the price. I really have to go get a Highland Park

I don't know how you guys like the peaty smoky stuff. It tastes like cough syrup combined with sucking on a copper coin. Maybe my taste buds are fucked... who knows.

I just picked up a Jack Daniels Sinatra Select which is amazingly smooth. Never thought I'd buy JD, but it tasted alright.

The Glenmorangie Lasanta - Sheery cask Extra matured is a permanent fixture in my bar. So is the Suntory Yamazaki 12 and 18.

I would say though, the crème de la crème of my bar at the moment is :

I have 4 bottles lol

For a relaxing time, make it Suntory time.

Il y en a qui ont des réserves!

Où est-ce qu'on peut trouvre d'autre Macallan 12 / 15?

I bought the Macallan 15 here in Quebec around last christmas, but last time I checked there was only 5 left across the SAQs in Quebec. The reason why theres so few left is that Macallan is replacing all the ''years'' (i.e. 10, 12, 15, etc) series by the ''1824/color'' series (i.e. Gold, Amber, Sienna and Ruby)...

The Macallan 10 and 12 I got it from the US, everytime I go to NYC I try to bring back some good scotch since the price there is a joke compare to here. If you go to NYC, on the I87 (in Albany) there's a place right next to the highway where they sell them at almost half price.

Next time I go to NYC, I'll try to bring back the Macallan 17 and 18.... and one more 12 just to enjoy it :)

by the way, if you guys are looking for reviews of any scotch whiskey , this guy is a beast! Almost 500 youtube videos of review
