Choix Wiskey/Scotch/Cognac

Had some of this on saturday night, was not disappointed. The best blend I've ever had..

What bugs me about that product, its the re-bottled Green Label.

Hahaha this is the thing. My buddy got this bottle as a house warming gift, and on his birthday saturday night he cracked the bottle and gave everyone a glass women included.. they put tonnes of ice cubes in it and cola, and I was thinking whatever its not green or blue so let the women ruin it.. until I checked on the SAQ website, $150 a bottle LOL. He promptly stopped serving it to the women after that lol

hahahha which is why I always have cheap scotch whiskey around to make sure that those who don't know how to enjoy good scotch don't touch my good ones

I love Macallans, they are great but a little bit over the budget you gave. I personally prefer single malt sctoch whiskeys. IMO the cheapest with a good taste is Glenfiddich 12 around $50.

I'm not a big connoiseur on whiskey but I had a glass of Macallan 18 a few years ago... even to the untrained pallette I knew this whiskey was no ordinary one I have to say it goes down like silk and I didn't know alcohol could be this smooth. If I ever have to entertain 'important' people, I'd spend the $250/bottle

Yeah I have to admit that good scotch whiskey is easily noticable even for ''untrained pallette''... its way smoother... I tend to think that people that are ''connoisseur'' can break down the different flavors in the whiskey, I am not at that level yet for some flavors... still work in progress.

What I do to show how good a whiskey is, I make them nose, drink and fell a Johnny Walker Red Label.... and then make them rinse their mouth with water and try the same thing with a good scotch (often make them try the Macallan 12) and everytime they are so shock how good it is... people that don`t like whiskey and don`t know about it, is often because they started with cheap whiskey i.e. Jack Daniels...

And when I had my first glass of Macallan 18 I also remember very well, because the taste was awesome but also when I saw the bill hahhahahahah

Ardbeg 10 tu y a goûté?
