The Netflix / AmazonVideo thread

Kong vs Godzilla. Since I'm a fan of the kaiju/monsterverse I enjoyed it.
I had to chuckle when they talked about inverse gravity/upside down and next scene I saw Millie Bobbi Brown who played 'eleven' in stranger things from the upside down.
 
Miniserie Le serpent sur netflix. j'ai écouté 3 episodes, super bon a date.

Pis le film cold poursuit. Bon petit film classique à la Liam Neeson.

Ouais est femme sur un temps. Une affaire qui me gosse c'est que dans la série, c'est supposé être une Québécoise. Quand elle s'est mise à parler Français je me suis dit wtf c'est pas une Québécoise ça avec son accent Français weird et comme de fait, je viens de voir que c'est une anglaise.

Oui, son accent est assez risible. On dirait qu'elle a appris le français dans un cours donné par quelqu'un qui n'a jamais parlé en français.
 
Mortal Kombat

It was kind of weird to see all these half-Asians in a movie but I loved the 2 iconic japaense movie stars Tadanobu Asano (he was so twisted and amazing in 'ichi the killer' with his sliced up cheeks) as Raiden and Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion. Obviously not all characters are there but they did try to incorporate the finishing moves like the game..
Now I have to say with all this political correctness I wonder if there's gonna be a blacklash since Kano couldn't stop with the racial slurs but I thought that was hilarious and very befitting of the character.

So they left an opening for a next one, very interesting.

une PAN qui s'est mal défendue devant la pression des médias?

ou une criss de folle qui pense qu'est black pour de vrai?

I had hopes as it was based on Tom Clancy's novel but frankly it was very predictable and the action scenes were so-so.
I did like how the candidly connected Jack Ryan's universe through Karen Greer (main dude's superior) who's the niece of Jim Greer (Jack Ryan's superior)
 
J'ai écouté Making a murdurer quand même crazy comme histoire!! Le système judiciaire au usa a pas d'allure

Sinon j'étais quand même stoke quand j'ai vu un documentaire sur Elvis, mais de la manière que c'est monté.. je trouve ca bizarre et difficile à regarder. On dirait juste un photo-video collage pis en même temps tu a plein de témoignage random qui joue mais tu ne vois jamais la personne qui parle...
