Montreal Canadiens centerman David Desharnais just picked up a brand new Audi RS7 from Audi Prestige in Dollard des Ormeaux.
The RS7 is one of fastest cars produced by Audi, coming in just short of the R8 supercar on the quarter mile with a time of 11.5 seconds vs 11.3 for the R8 V10 model.
The list price for the RS7 in Quebec is $116,000 before any options but that shouldn’t be a problem for Desharnais, who is in the second year of a four-year $3.5 million per year contract. The purchase is equivalent of someone making $100,000 per year buying a car for $3314.
